As we proudly launch the 2026 Food & Wine Pairing Season, we invite our guests once again to discover a series of carefully curated dining events celebrating some of Greece’s most distinguished wineries, premium labels and iconic spirits.
Hosted at the atmospheric Taverna Blue and the elegant Wine Bar of Apollo Blue, this year’s programme promises a unique culinary journey through the Greek vineyard and beyond — where every glass is thoughtfully paired with inspired dishes created especially for each event.
The entire series is presented under the guidance of Andreas Matthidis, President of the Greek Sommeliers Association, whose expertise and passion continue to elevate these evenings into one of the most anticipated gastronomic experiences on the island of Rhodes.
Adding even more culinary prestige to this year’s edition, the talented chefs team of Apollo Blue will be joined by acclaimed Rhodian chef Dimitris Kontaratos, serving as consulting chef for the à la carte dinners and the exclusive wine pairing events. Known for his refined approach to Mediterranean cuisine and his deep respect for local ingredients, Chef Kontaratos will contribute his creativity and culinary vision to a series designed to delight even the most demanding food and wine enthusiasts.
